The Everlasting Sapling is an ancient artifact, rumored to have been created by the roaches. It is said that eating even one of its leaves can grant eternal youth to a bug; as such, it is a very sought after item, but no one has ever found it before the events of the game.

History[]

Queen Elizant I led her people to the land that would become Bugaria in search of said sapling, only to find the remains of the roaches that once lived there. The queen shortly passed away after setting up the Ant Kingdom City, leaving the task of finding the sapling to her daughter.

It is rumored that some artifacts are linked to the sapling and will show the way to it.

Chapter 7: The Everlasting Sapling[]

With all of the artifacts in his possession, the Wasp King leads his army to the Giant's Lair where the fabled sapling is located, with Team Snakemouth and the others giving chase. Navigating through the Dead Lands and beating back the Roach that stand in his way, he rushes over to unseal it after losing the first fight against the trio. Using the final artifact to unlock the shell, it is revealed that the sapling has wilted after being in the dark for years. In desperation for power, he eats the last remaining leaf, transforming him into The Everlasting King, and uses a column of fire to destroy the rest of the sapling.

After his second defeat by Team Snakemouth, he metamorphoses into a small tree in the sapling's place, devoid of magic.
