Status Effects are effects that can be inflicted on either the Trio or any enemy that isn't invulnerable to it.
There are currently 4 status effects in the game right now, with 2 medals giving partial immunity to 2 of the effects.
Negative Effects
- Poison: Damages the inflicted party member(s) every turn for 1 damage.
- Ways to inflict: None.
- Ways to get inflicted: Jellyshroom, Spuder, and using Danger Shroom
- Resistance medals: Poison Resistance (50% resist. 2 total medals)
- Sleep: Prevents any actions on the inflicted party member(s) until it wears off, but heal 1hp each turn until then. Will be immediately cancelled when attacked.
- Ways to inflict: None.
- Ways to get inflicted: Numbnail
- Resistance medals: Sleep Resistance (50% resist. 1 total medal; Has no actual effect in the demo)
- Rage: Makes the inflicted enemy only attack the party member who caused the effect The affected party member is unable to use any other moves other than 'Attack'.
- Ways to inflict: Beetle's skill: Taunt (Initial skill, costs 1 TP)
- Ways to get inflicted: Zasp's attack, "Taunt", which enrages a single party member
- Resistance medals: None
- Frozen: Prevents any actions on the inflicted party member(s) until it wears off. When attacked, the member will be freed, but they take 1 more damage from the attack.
- Broken: Makes inflicted enemy have -1 defense for 2 turns
- Ways to inflict: Moth's skill, Break (Medal-based skill, costs 3 TP)

- Numb: Prevents any actions on the inflicted party member(s) until it wears off.

Positive Effects
- Infront: Makes the party member do +1 damage, at the cost of being targeted more often by enemies
- Ways to inflict: None
- Ways to get inflicted: Changing the party order to put the desired party member in the front
- Spicy: Makes the inflicted party member(s) do +1 damage for 2 turns
- Ways to inflict: None
- Ways to get inflicted: Spicy Berry
- Burly: Makes the inflicted party member(s) have +1 defense for 2 turns
- Ways to inflict: None
- Ways to get inflicted: Burly Berry
- Charged: Makes the inflicted party member(s) do +1 damage for the next attack, after which it disappears. This will stack up to 3 times, allowing up to +3 damage on the next attack
- Ways to inflict: None
- Ways to get inflicted: Moth's skill, Charge Up (Learned at Level 4, costs 3 TP)
