Medals are equippable items that are obtained by completing quests, purchasing them in stores or by finding them in various locations in the world. Each medal grants a unique effect to an individual party member or the entire party. Most Medals cost MP (Medal Points) to equip, and each Medal can have different costs.

Medals also have a scope; some of them affect a single party member while others affect the entire party. Duplicates of single target medals exist and they can stack with each other if equipped on the same party member.

If the RUIGEE Menu Code is active, all Medals with an MP cost only cost 1 MP to equip.

Medals received as Hard Mode rewards will instead be sold at the caravan if their required boss is defeated on normal mode.

The equipped ally's defense is decreased by 1. If the equipped ally is attacked, the other members gain 1 charge, increasing the damage of their next attack by 1. Charges stack up to 3.

3 Reduces an ally's attack by 1, but their attacks will steal life from enemies. Single
Reduces an ally's attack by 1. All attacks and skills heal the equipped ally for 1/2 of the damage dealt to each enemy. Multi-hit skills heal only once. Skills with action commands in between hits heal each hit. If Life Cast is also equipped, only 1/4 of damage dealt is healed.
