Items are consumables that may be used in battle. Items that heal HP or TP may also be used outside of battle. There are three main categories of items.
Items can be found in the over world, bought from shops, given by NPCs, and can drop after battle.

Key Items are important items that cannot be used in battles. Often, they are tied to story related events or quests.
|Explorer Permit||Permit that shows you are a certified exploration team under the Ant Kingdom.||Given by Eetl after Maki's Tutorial. Used with the B.O.S.S machine to re-fight previous bosses, and with the Cave of Trials to fight the enemy gauntlet.|
|Bug Ranger Plushie||A plushie of Bug Ranger Green! There's only 10 of this very sought after collector's item!||Purchase from the caravan moth in Bugaria Theater for 40 berries. Can be given to a termite outside the Colosseum in the Termite Kingdom for an achievement.|
|Package||A package from Eetl. You shouldn't see what's inside.||Received from Eetl for the quest Parts Delivery.|
|Overdue Book||This book's been sitting on the shelf too long. It must be returned to the library!||Received from Ali for the quest Book Return!.|
|Dotted Ball||Ball dropped by Tod from the Ant Plaza, give it back to him!||Found behind a branch in the path to the Golden Path. Returned to Tod for the quest Lost Toy.|
|Map of Bugaria||A map of the land of Bugaria! Check it to see where you've explored.||Given by Queen Elizant the II after finishing Chapter 1. Can be checked to see your current location and read details of other previously visited locations.|
|Platinum Card||Card showing you're a platinum member of the Bank of Bugaria, increases rate of interest.||Obtained from the Bank of Bugaria after accruing a balance of 500 berries or more. Increases bi-hourly interest rate from 3% to 6%.|

|Mothiva Doll||A doll of Mothiva, the super star! Maybe someone lost it?||Located in Golden Settlement inside the large pumpkin house in the back right corner. Used for the quest Lost Item.|
|Moon Offering||An offering for Goddess Venus shaped like the moon. It feels cold to the touch.||Acquired in the Golden Settlement eating competition between Leif, Chubee and Zasp.|

|Wooden Crank||A wooden crank. It should fit in a slot somewhere to control nearby mechanisms.||Three are obtained in Golden Hills. One is obtained in the right half of golden hills and another is obtained in the lower of the two rooms accessible from the room left of the hub area. The third is obtained in the second half of the area in the room to the right of the main gate. One is used to access the upper room in the left half of Golden Hills and the second is used in the central room to access the right lift. The third is used in the same room in which it is obtained.|
