Devourer is one of the Bounties in the game. It is found in Golden Path and is accessible as soon as Vi learns Beemerang Halt and uses it at the wooden structure's crank, reach the top of it and walk north.

| Bestiary | In the early days of the Golden Settlement, windmills were being set absolutely everywhere to test energy production limits. A team of scientists began building a few east of the town, not noticing the flytraps growing underneath them... By the time they realized it, it was too late. A gigantic Devourer attacked, accompanied by vicious flytraps. Although most managed to escape, the Devourer had yet to pay for those it swallowed whole. In an expedition, Team Snakemouth finally delivered justice. |

Battle Information[]
It mainly attacks by splitting fast-paced acid balls at the party and breathing out poisonous gas at them, Occasionally (Every other turn, starting on turn 1) it will also summon flytraps to fight for it (with 8 HP on Normal and Hard Mode). The Flytraps do not need to be defeated to win the fight. It may also slam into the ground, launching the party into the air and potentially eating one of the party members, recovering its HP in the progress. The eaten party member cannot move, have an item used on them, or be targeted by other attacks, though their persisting HP/TP regeneration will not be affected. The boss will spit out a party member after 3 turns, or if the party member or the boss were defeated beforehand.
Considering how fast the projectiles move even at Normal Mode and the partner ejection which massively reduces the team's firepower as well as the poison effects which deals damage to the already largely harmed party, it is considered as the hardest battle in the Bounty, and arguably one of the hardest bosses in the entire game.

- It appears to be a monstrous, sentient version of a purple pitcher plant (Sarracenia purpurea).
- During the beta, the Devourer had a multitude of bugs. One notable example is when it would eat a party member, causing said member to never reappear.
