Crystal Berries are special items which can be collected. There are 50 in total, and are used to trade for medals. They have their own counter in the main pause screen.

If you have the Detector medal equipped, it will warn when you enter a map with a crystal berry not yet obtained.

Chapter One
Bugaria Outskirts To the right of the Snakemouth Den entrance, behind some bushes. Link
Snakemouth Den In the large water room a few rooms left of the pit before the large door, all the way to the bottom right in front of the sign, in a bush that Kabbu can cut.
Snakemouth Den Behind a ruined house on the left side of the three-way room Link
Ant Kingdom Palace Reward for delivering the Ancient Mask.
Chapter Two
Ant Kingdom City In the theater. Requires having Kabbu repeatedly hit the cylinder to the right.
Golden Settlement In the wildmill in the farm area. Requires Vi's Hold skill to spin the crank.
Golden Path Immediately after entering the golden path, to the left behind some bushes Kabbu can cut. Behind them and to the right is a bounceshroom, which leads to the Crystal Berry behind a bush.
Golden Hills One screen left of the first room of golden hills, following the bridge up and climbing the flytraps.
Ant Kingdom Palace Reward for delivering the Ancient Tablet.
Chapter Three
Ant Kingdom City Behind Madame Butterfly's shop. Requires Kabbu's Dig. Link
Ant Kingdom City In the main square, right of the large gates. Requires Kabbu's Dig.
Golden Settlement In the Golden Settlement, left room, aphid pen. Requires Kabbu's Dig.
Golden Settlement In the Golden Settlement, left room. Talk to the fortune teller from behind the counter by digging under the fence. Requires Kabbu's Dig.
Golden Path Just south of Golden Settlement, at the end of the path, between some rocks in the center of the room. Requires Kabbu's Dig.
Ant Kingdom Palace Reward for delivering the Ancient Key.
Chapter Four
Bugaria Outskirts On the same screen at the Explorer's Association, dig up the dirt pile on the big rock.
Ant Mines Dig up the dirt pile in the break room.
Lost Sands In the Roach Village Ruins (the same area where you get one of the Ancient Castle keys) dig up a dirt pile in a ruined building.
Bandit Hideout Dig under the bars to the right cell and dig up the dirt pile. Talk to the revealed NPC.
Bandit Hideout In the caffeteria. Use the springshroom to get up to wooden bars and jump all the way to the right. Drop down and dig up the dirt pile there.
Ancient Castle Two screens right of the large room with the save and heal spot. Use Leif's shield to walk on thorns between the columns after the first boulder to enter a secret room.
Ancient Castle In the room north-west of the central room, to the right. Get on a moving platform that goes to the right and toggle the switch to navigate around spike walls.
Chapter Five
Bugaria Outskirts Behind Chuck's Abode, from the left. Requires Kabbu's Horn Dash. Link
Far Grasslands In the first room of the far grasslands, immediately head left and dig behind the first bush past the fence.
Chapter Six
Termite Capitol In the throne room. Behind the platform that the Termite King and Queen's thrones are on.
Snakemouth Den In the first room. Jump up the central ledge with a springshroom, go to the south part of the ledge and go right. Requires Vi's Bee Fly.
Chapter Seven
Giant's Lair In the second room of the lair, immediately head south and jump over the rock to find a digging spot.
Giant's Lair On the second room of the floor, climb up the ice blocks and then fall behind into the top-left corner behind the carton of milk.
